About the Championship
The Turkish Junior Golf Tour (TJGT) is a premier competitive golf series connecting Türkiye's most talented junior golfers to international majors. This event serves as the official qualifier for the FCG Callaway World Championship (USA) and the Amundi Evian Kids Cup (France).
Champions across 5 age categories earn direct invitations to the Callaway World Championship in the United States, carrying full Balkans and Türkiye qualification status.

1. DATA CONTROLLER & SCOPE
Turkish Junior Golf Tour (referred to as "TJGT", "we", "our", or "the Organization") acts as the Data Controller in accordance with the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Policy governs the collection, processing, and protection of personal data pertaining to participating junior athletes, parents, legal guardians, and site visitors.
2. COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA
When registering for tournaments, creating profiles, or communicating with TJGT, we collect:
- Player Data: Full legal name, date of birth, gender, nationality, city/country of residence, golf handicap index, home club affiliation, and competitive round scores.
- Parent / Guardian Data: Full legal name, contact telephone number, email address, billing address, and emergency contact details.
- Technical & Transactional Data: IP address, transaction confirmation IDs, payment amounts, and timestamp logs (payment card numbers are processed via certified Tier-1 PCI-DSS payment gateways and are never stored on our servers).
3. LEGAL BASIS & PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
Personal data is processed strictly under the following lawful bases and operational objectives:
- Execution of Tournament Contracts: Processing official entry applications, assigning valid age divisions based on international cutoff regulations, creating pairing tee times, and maintaining live leaderboards.
- International Qualification Verification: Submitting verified scoring records, official exemptions, and player rosters to international sanctioning bodies including Future Champions Golf (FCG Callaway World Championship) and Amundi Evian Kids Cup.
- Compliance & Safety: Fulfilling statutory accounting, taxation, sports federations regulations, and emergency on-course medical coordination.
4. MEDIA, BROADCAST & SCORING DISCLOSURE
By enrolling in TJGT sanctioned events, official scoring results, player names, nationalities, and age divisions will be published on public leaderboards, media bulletins, and international golf databases. Photography and videography captured during championship rounds and award ceremonies are processed pursuant to the Parental & Media Consent Declaration.
5. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY
All collected records are retained securely using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption, restricted role-based database permissions, and secure server environments. Data will be retained only for the period necessary to maintain official athletic records, legal obligations, and audit requirements.
6. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
Under applicable data protection laws, parents and legal guardians retain the right to:
- Request access to and copies of processed personal records.
- Request the correction or rectification of incomplete or inaccurate information.
- Request deletion or anonymization of non-statutory records upon the conclusion of the event season.
- Object to direct marketing communications.

Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refund Policy
1. GENERAL WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Registration and entry fees for Turkish Junior Golf Tour (TJGT) championships cover tournament entry, official tee gifts, course access, practice facilities, live scoring management, and international qualification administration. Withdrawals must be submitted in writing via email to contact@turkishjuniorgolf.com. Verbal or third-party withdrawal notices will not be honored.
2. REFUND TIMELINE & APPLICABLE CHARGES
- Standard Withdrawals (21+ Days Prior to Event): Written requests received at least 21 calendar days prior to the first official tournament round (or official practice day) will receive a 100% refund of the entry fee, minus a €25.00 non-refundable administrative processing fee.
- Late Withdrawals (20 to 8 Days Prior to Event): Written requests received between 20 and 8 calendar days prior to the event will receive a 50% tour credit voucher valid for 12 months toward any subsequent TJGT championship.
- Non-Refundable Period (Within 7 Days of Event): Withdrawals submitted within 7 calendar days of the event, or failure to appear on tournament day ("No-Show"), are strictly non-refundable and not eligible for tournament credit, as tee pairings, course allocations, and player packages have been finalized.
3. MEDICAL WITHDRAWALS
If a registered participant is unable to compete due to acute illness or injury prior to their opening tee time, a formal medical report issued by a licensed physician must be submitted to contact@turkishjuniorgolf.com within 48 hours of withdrawal. Upon review and approval by the Tournament Committee, the participant will receive a full entry refund (less €25.00 administrative fee) or a 100% transferrable tour credit.
4. FORCE MAJEURE & WEATHER DELAYS
Golf is an outdoor sport played under diverse meteorological conditions. Every reasonable effort will be made to complete the scheduled 36 holes:
- If unplayable weather forces a reduction of rounds, but at least 18 holes are completed by a division, the tournament will be deemed official, and no partial refunds will apply.
- In the event of complete tournament cancellation prior to play due to severe weather, facility closure, or governmental directives, registrations will automatically rollover to the rescheduled date or be refunded in full.

ARTICLE 1 - PARTIES & DEFINITIONS

1.2. BUYER (CONSUMER):
The parent, legal guardian, or authorized representative completing the electronic tournament registration form on behalf of the minor participant.
ARTICLE 2 - SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
The subject of this Agreement is the provision of tournament entry, competition scheduling, qualification evaluation, scoring services, and event operations for the selected Turkish Junior Golf Tour Championship, in accordance with the Law on Consumer Protection and Electronic Commerce regulations.
ARTICLE 3 - SERVICE PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS
3.1. The total participation fee (inclusive of all applicable taxes and tournament fees) is determined dynamically based on the participant’s age category and daily round format (e.g., €200.00 for 9-hole divisions, €250.00 for 18-hole divisions).
3.2. Payment is executed securely online via 3D Secure / SSL encrypted payment channels. The contract is executed and confirmed once the financial transaction is authorized.
ARTICLE 4 - PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY & AGE VERIFICATION
4.1. The Buyer expressly confirms that all submitted details regarding the participant’s date of birth, gender, handicap, and identity are complete and truthful.
4.2. Age category assignment is determined strictly based on the participant’s age as of the official cut-off date (July 21, 2027). Any deliberate misrepresentation of age will result in immediate disqualification without right of refund.
ARTICLE 5 - RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & EXCEPTIONS
Pursuant to international distance contract standards and consumer regulations for leisure and sporting events scheduled for a specific date:
5.1. The standard right of withdrawal without cause is subject to the specific deadlines detailed in the official Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5.2. Upon the official commencement of tournament check-in and tee times, the electronic service is deemed fully delivered.
ARTICLE 6 - GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Agreement is governed by applicable commercial and consumer laws. Any disputes arising from tournament transactions shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the authorized Consumer Arbitration Committees and Civil Courts.
ARTICLE 7 - EXECUTION
By ticking the confirmation checkbox on the registration portal and completing the online payment, the Buyer declares that they have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted all terms set forth in this Agreement, the Privacy Notice, and Tournament Regulations.
